Monthly Journeying Gatherings
Overview
A key aspect of my role as a teacher is to create the conditions that allow for you to have direct experiences of your own helping spirits, which is what enables you to become spirit-taught.
Being spirit-taught is equally important whether you’re newly learning the practice of journeying, reprising your practice, or deepening a long-standing practice. So much so that my helping spirits have called upon me to offer a monthly virtual journeying circle to bring our entire community together for an evening of practice and connection.Â
No matter where you are in the spiral of your unfolding, these gatherings are intended to offer you the sense of community and structure that you would typically experience in an “Ennobling of the Heart” Â workshop or training.
At this time, I feel what’s being asked of us by the helping spirits is to gather and keep deepening, keep sharing, keep growing and evolving in our practice, so we can derive all the goodness, richness, and benefits that they would like to share with us.
What to expect
Each gathering is more than an invitation to journey together, it’s an opportunity to deepen your knowledge and experience of the spirit world.
I will present a teaching and provide a journey inquiry. You will journey individually or on one another’s behalf in breakout rooms, where you will be able to share with each other, then return back to the circle to ask questions.
- No prerequisite required for these gatherings
- Intended for journeyers of all levels, whether you started your path with me or with another teacher
- You need to be familiar and comfortable with the journeying process, as we will not be reviewing the steps at each session
- Each month will have a set topic (see the list of upcoming topics below); the specific line of inquiry will be revealed the night of the gathering
- Come to each gathering prepared with any and all items you will need to journey comfortably, such as headphones, blankets, bolsters, an eye pillow, your personal drum and/or rattle, and any personal sacred items you wish to have with you while you journey

In keeping with the classical teaching in shamanism about the helping spirits having discrete specializations, there are helping spirits who specialize in being teachers.Â
These exquisite beings hold boundless wisdom, knowledge, and teachings that are derived from the lineages they represent.Â
By choosing you as their student, they are inviting you to carry the sacred mantle of their mastery in the world.Â
A “threshold” for power refers to the amount of power you have the capacity, willingness, and ability to carry. When we collaborate with the spirit world, our threshold for carrying spiritual power needs to continually increase in order to accommodate the power our helping spirits generously share with us.Â
During this gathering, we will explore the influences that shape our thresholds for spiritual power – whether our individual thresholds are currently high or low. The journey practice will be dedicated to consciously increasing our thresholds for spiritual power, thus making room for our ever-deepening partnerships with our helping spirits.
